Presentación de las Memorias del I y II Encuentro de Arquitectura y Urbanismo Tropical.

Presentaron BAC San José, Embajada de España y el IAT. Concierto de piano de Manuel Obregón y proyección del documental Simbiosis. Sábado 6 de diciembre del 2008.

Conferencia Magistral: Desafíos de la construcción  sostenible  en los países en desarrollo”, impartida por el ingeniero brasilero Vanderley Moacir John, de la Universidad de Sao Paulo. Presentaron Holcim CR, La Cámara de La Construcción, el Instituto de Arquitectura Tropical y la Universidad Veritas. 17 de Julio del 2008.

The event was organized by the Institute for Tropical Architecture at the Museo de Arte y Diseño Comtemporáneo.

III Encuentro de Arquitectura, Urbanismo y Paisajismo Tropical, 2004. Gather: Glenn Murcutt & Philip Cox from Australia; Joao da Gama Filgueiras Lima from Brasil; Rolando Barahona & Bruno Stagno from Costa Rica; Iñaki Abalos from Spain; Made Wijaya from Indonesia; Philip Bay from Singapore; Bruce Lindsay from USA; & Enrique Larrañaga from Venezuela. The event was organized by the Institute for Tropical Architecture at the Museo de Arte y Diseño Comtemporáneo.

Seminario de Ecología Urbana, Salvador Rueda, 2003. One week, organized by ITA and sponsor by Universidad Veritas. The workshop took place in both institutions.

Taller de diseño Bioclimático, David Garda, 2002. Workshop at the ITA´s headquarters, one week, 8 hours per day.

The event was organized by the Institute for Tropical Architecture at the Museo de Arte y Diseño Comtemporaneo.

Mexican architect Carlos Mijares was invited for the inauguration of the ITA'S new Headquarters and gave a conference in the Mexican Cultural Centre about Habitat and Architectural Space.

1997
Columbian architect. Carlos Morales was invited by ITA to lecture at the Colegio Federado de Ingenieros y Arquitectos de Costa Rica.
